Atiq Ahmed was an Indian criminal, and a former member of the Indian Parliament and the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Samajwadi Party. He had more than 100 criminal cases registered against him and was in jail since 2019. on 15 April 2023 he was shot dead.

Atiq Ahmed Biography

Atiq Ahmed was born on August 10, 1962 in a locality named Chakia, Allahabad now Prayagraj. His father Firoz Ahmed used to walk the tonga to take care of the family. The first murder case was registered against Atiq Ahmed at the age of 17. Along with growing old, Atiq’s crime world also started increasing. Many charges like murder, kidnapping, land grab, assault with police, breach of peace, obstruction in government work are included on them. There are more than 80 cases registered against Atiq Ahmed, which are in different districts of Uttar Pradesh and also in Other state.

In this election of 1989, Chand Baba, who had the same criminal image as the then councilor and Atiq, also entered the fray. Atiq was so annoyed by this that even before the results came out after voting, he along with his henchmen killed him with bullets and bombs at the Kabab Paratha shop in Roshan Bagh area.

On February 24, 2023, at some distance from Umesh Pal’s house in Sulem Sarai locality of Dhumanganj, armed men, who were later identified as Atiq Ahmed’s henchmen, shot him dead.
